About the Church
The Roman Catholic Church of Taurupe (Taurupes Romas katoļu baznīca) is a Roman Catholic church in the settlement of Taurupe, in Ogre Municipality, in the Vidzeme region.
The parish belongs to the Vidzeme Deanery of the Riga Archdiocese. This small rural community gathers Catholics from the surrounding area, and Mass is celebrated here regularly. As in many places in Vidzeme, the local Catholic community is small, but faithful to its religion.
