About the Church
The Roman Catholic Church of the Holy Spirit in Allaži is the place of prayer of a small Catholic community in the settlement of Allaži, in the Vidzeme region, near Sigulda. The parish belongs to the Archdiocese of Riga.
The church is dedicated to the Holy Spirit – the third Person of the Most Holy Trinity, whose gifts and grace are the source of the Church's life. Like other Catholic communities in this historically Lutheran land, the parish of Allaži is small, but it brings together local believers for communal prayer and for fostering the tradition of the faith.
