About the Church
The Parish of St Michael the Archangel in Rakvere is a small Catholic community in the centre of Lääne-Virumaa county, belonging to the Diocese of Tallinn. The parish has no church of its own: services are held in a chapel fitted out in the youth centre of the EELK Rakvere Parish of the Holy Trinity, at Pikk Street 19, in the Old Town.
The parish's patron is St Michael the Archangel. Mass is celebrated on Sundays in Estonian by the priest Józef Gondek, who also serves the communities of Ahtme and Kiviõli.
