About the Church
The Church of Divine Providence in Eigirdžiai is a church built of wood as a building material, in the town of Eigirdžiai, 8 km north-east of Telšiai. It was built in 1795 and has a rectangular plan, with 2 side sacristies, a small turret and 5 altars. The churchyard fence is of stone masonry. Within it are a wooden bell tower, a cemetery, and an old two-tier, square-plan bell tower. In the lower, diagonally widened part, a recess has been made for the bell tower's door, with a small roof.
