About the Church

The Tauragė Church of the Holy Trinity is a Catholic church built in 1904, standing in Tauragė's old town. The church has features of the Neo-Romanesque and Neoclassical styles, a Latin-cross plan, with a five-sided apse and one eight-sided tower. It has 6 altars fitted. The church was damaged several times and rebuilt, and the organ was installed in 1908 by the Königsberg craftsman Bruno Gėbelis. At present a clock is fitted in the church's tower.
