Gaurės Šv. arkangelo Mykolo bažnyčia

The Gaurė Church of St Michael the Archangel is a masonry church built in 1992 in Gaurė, Tauragė district. The church was founded after Gabrielius Kaminskis regained his Catholic places of worship in 1670, and parish registers began to be kept from 1675. A new wooden church was built in 1773, and construction of the new masonry church began in 1992, after the old church burned down in 1970. Now surviving in the churchyard are the gates of the old church's masonry fence and a wooden bell tower, as well as five 19th-century iron crosses.
