About the Church
The Roman Catholic community of Staļģene is a small mission point of the Diocese of Jelgava in the Jaunsvirlauka parish of Jelgava municipality, in the settlement of Staļģene by the Lielupe river.
The local Catholics do not have a separate church – Mass is celebrated in adapted premises. Community life centres on the Sunday Mass and the main feasts of the liturgical year.
