About the Church
The Church of the Holy Cross at Janči is a Roman Catholic church in the village of Janči, in Dāviņi eldership, Bauska Municipality, in the historic region of Semigallia. It belongs to the Diocese of Jelgava.
The wooden church was built in 1931–1932 by the local community of believers and was consecrated in honour of the Holy Cross. It is a small wooden church clad in boards.
The church serves a small rural community and is the centre of its spiritual life.
