About the Church
The Church of St Mary Magdalene in Girdžiai is in vernacular architectural forms, built in 1926 in Girdžiai, Jurbarkas district, in the Diocese of Kaunas. The church had an organ, which was stolen during the Russian occupation. Beside the church stand a wooden bell tower and Stations of the Cross shrines with painted images, as well as an old cemetery. The parish priest is now Saulius Pavalkis.
