Svėdasų Šv. arkangelo Mykolo bažnyčia

The Svėdasai Church of St Michael the Archangel is a church in the small town of Svėdasai, Anykščiai district, standing on the northern shore of Lake Alaušas. It belongs to the Diocese of Panevėžys and the Anykščiai Deanery. The church, together with its bell tower and the Morikoniai chapel-mausoleum, forms a complex of cultural monuments that was entered in the Register of Cultural Property in 1992.

The church is first mentioned in documents in 1522, and the present building was built in 1794. In the mid-19th century the church was a notable cultural centre, housing a school and various societies. The church's architecture is Historicist, with a tower in the Neo-Byzantine style.

In the church's churchyard stand a masonry Gothic Revival bell tower and the Morikoniai chapel-mausoleum, which are also cultural monuments. The painting of St Joseph in the church is an artwork of national significance.
