About the Church
The Church of Sts Peter and Paul the Apostles in Ozolmuiža stands at the centre of the Ozolmuiža civil parish, Rēzekne municipality. The church is a cultural monument of national significance.
The church was built in 1820 at the expense of Pēteris and Marija Plāteris-Zībergs. It is a single-nave stone church with a small bell tower holding three bells, a sheet-metal roof and a tiled floor; the church is 20 metres long and 10 metres wide. Inside there is a large stone altar with four columns and two side altars. The Ozolmuiža parish has been independent from its foundation and has five cemeteries.
