About the Church
The Roman Catholic Church of Rauna (Raunas Romas katoļu baznīca) is a Catholic house of prayer in the town of Rauna, in the Vidzeme region, in northern Latvia.
The local Catholic community is small, so a separate building has been adapted for services. The parish belongs to the Vidzeme Deanery of the Archdiocese of Riga.
The Rauna area is better known for its old Lutheran church, but the Catholic community here also keeps a living tradition of faith.
