About the Church
The Chapel of St Aloysius Gonzaga (Jaama Street 143b) belongs to the Parish of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Tartu. Its patron, St Aloysius Gonzaga, is venerated in the Catholic Church as the patron of youth and students.
The chapel is used for smaller Masses, prayer and community gatherings — it is especially important in serving Tartu's students and the international Catholic community. On Saturdays at 19:30 the Sunday Mass is celebrated here in Estonian; the chapel is served by the priest Viktoras Markovičius.
