About the Church
According to its coordinates, in the small town of Kintai, Šilutė district, stands a masonry Lutheran church built in 1705, later turned during the Soviet period into a grain warehouse and a concert hall, and handed over to the Catholics after Lithuania regained its independence. The church has a rectangular plan with an apse and no towers; a monument that once stood beside it to the memory of the victims of the First World War has been dismantled. Since 1997 it has been a cultural heritage site.
