About the Church
The Nemakščiai Church of the Holy Trinity is a masonry church built in 2001 in Nemakščiai, Raseiniai district, Tauragė Deanery. The church replaced a wooden structure that had been built before 1579 but burned down several times. Other chapels have also been built nearby. The construction of the church required a great deal of financial assistance, including support from the Diocese of Telšiai. The church's architect was Vytautas Makaraitis. As with the old church, a Lourdes grotto stands right next to the church.
