Alksnėnų Švč. Mergelės Marijos Ėmimo į dangų bažnyčia

The Alksnėnai Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary is in Vilkaviškis district. The church was built as a wooden chapel in 1925 and became a parish church in 1921, and parish priest Bronius Antanaitis renovated it after the Second World War. The parish priest serving the church today is Arūnas Simonavičius. It is of vernacular architectural forms, rectangular in plan, single-towered, with three altars and a cemetery.
