About the Church
The Antanavas chapel, a wooden Catholic chapel built in Antanavas, Kazlų Rūda municipality, in the late 18th century, is listed among cultural heritage monuments as an original monument of vernacular sacred architecture. The chapel's architecture reflects the traditions of vernacular sacred building; its interior is bright and spacious, while the exterior design is simpler. In recent years the chapel has been restored while preserving the authentic timber and its structure. The chapel belongs to the Pilviškiai Parish of the Holy Trinity, and services are held there.
