About the Church
The Keturvalakiai Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary stands 12 km west of Marijampolė. The church was built in 1950 and is wooden. It belongs to Vilkaviškis Deanery, and the municipality is Vilkaviškis district. From the late 18th century a parish school operated here. The church also gained a modern bell tower and underwent restoration work between 1986 and 1990.
