About the Church
The Kybartai Church of the Eucharistic Saviour was built in 1928. The church is in the Neo-Renaissance style, has a single tower and a three-naved interior with vaults. The design was created by Vytautas Landsbergis-Žemkalnis, and Bronius Pundzius created the sculpture group by the altar. The church was damaged during the Second World War but was later rebuilt. Among the many priests who served as parish priest in Kybartai were Sigitas Tamkevičius and Virgilijus Jaugelis.
