About the Church
The Roman Catholic community of Gramzda is in the village of Gramzda, in south-western Courland, in the South Courland region, near the border with Lithuania. This mission community belongs to the Liepāja Diocese.
Like other small places in Courland, Gramzda has no separate Catholic church; the faithful are served by visiting priests. The community bears witness to the Catholic faith reborn in Latvia's border villages after the Soviet era.
