Troškūnų Švč. Trejybės bažnyčia

The Troškūnai Church of the Holy Trinity is a Late Baroque church in Troškūnai, Anykščiai district. It was built in 1787. The architect was Martynas Knakfusas. Next to the church is a monastery, and the parish also has cemetery chapels in Juostininkai and Troškūnai. The church is of masonry, with 7 altars, and inside is the oldest organ in the Anykščiai region. Next to the church stands a taller masonry bell tower, built in 1803.

In 1696 the owner of the Troškūnai manor, Vladislovas Sakalauskas, invited the Bernardines, and built a single-storey masonry monastery and a wooden church. After several fires, the church was rebuilt, and later the present masonry church was built in 1774–1787. A single-storey masonry monastery was also built, and a secondary school was established.

The church holds a graced image of the Mother of God – "The Miraculous Madonna of Troškūnai, Queen of the Rosary". In the square by the church, a monument was erected in 1996 – "The Gate for Those Who Went to Defend the Fatherland" – to the Lithuanian partisans of the Algimantas district.
