About the Church
Gražiškiai Church of St Michael the Archangel was built in 1881 and is a single-tower, rectangular-plan masonry church with an attached low baptistery and sacristy. The interior is divided into three naves separated by pillars. The parish saw several changes of parish priest from the 17th century onwards. There had also been an earlier wooden church, but it fell into disrepair and was replaced by a new temporary structure from Šunskai. The present masonry church was consecrated by auxiliary bishop Juozapas Olekas.
