About the Church
The Juciūnai chapel is a cultural heritage site, built in 1817. It is a wooden chapel in the vernacular architecture style with a bell tower, located in the Kėdainiai district, Pelėdnagiai eldership, in Juciūnai. It belongs to the parish of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Žeimiai and is in active use. The chapel is regarded as an object of local significance and is included in the Register of Cultural Property of the Republic of Lithuania with unique codes 36617 and 36616. Architecturally it is a compact, single-storey building with a three-sided apse and a bell tower. The chapel was rebuilt and repaired in 2005 and 2013; before the traditional feast of St Anne it and the bell tower were repainted.
