About the Church
The Roman Catholic Chapel at Ilzeskalns is situated in the Ilzeskalns civil parish, in the Rēzekne district, in the Latgale region. It belongs to the Diocese of Rēzekne–Aglona.
The chapel was fitted out in a residential building in 1995 and blessed the same year; the community had separated from the Nautrēni parish. In 2009, after funds had been raised, the chapel was substantially renovated. It is the local Catholics' place of prayer and gathering.
