About the Church
The Sartininkai Church of St George is a wooden Catholic church of vernacular architecture, built in 1787 in Sartininkai, Tauragė district. The church has three altars, a wooden bell tower and Stations of the Cross. Also buried here is Alfonsas Škikūnas, a former parish priest of Sartininkai. It is a church more than two hundred years old, with a rich history and cultural heritage.
