About the Church
The Stempliai Church of St Aloysius is a wooden Catholic church, built in 1943 in Šilutė district, in the village of Stempliai, by the road Kvėdarna–Švėkšna–Sauga. The church was renovated and is now in use. It has a rectangular plan and a single tower, and the churchyard wall is of wooden posts. In front of the churchyard stands a wayside shrine, marking the centenary of Lithuanian statehood.
