About the Church
The Rokai St Anthony of Padua Church stands in Rokai, the southernmost neighbourhood of Kaunas, at J. Borutos g. 23, next to the company UAB "Rokų keramika". The church has a wooden altar, a pulpit, "Holy Family" sculptures, a cross, white plaster Stations of the Cross, and among its artworks a painting of "St Anthony" and two tapestry angels. The Rokai St Anthony of Padua parish was established on 13 September 2005 by decree of Bishop Rimantas Norvila. A Holy Family chapel had earlier been established in 1999 in the former "Rokų keramika" community centre.
